MY THOUGHTS
Mindy Obenhaus has quickly become a favorite Love Inspired author of Contemporary Christian Romance, and I am loving her Hope Crossing series in particular. A Christmas Bargain returns to the Texas setting of The Cowgirl’s Redemption with a new story centered around a Christmas tree farm, and I can’t imagine a better catalyst for conflict and romantic tension in this seasonal tale.
New to Hope Crossing and determined to make a go of the inherited Christmas tree farm for herself and her young daughter, Annalise Grant isn’t looking for a hero, but Hawkins Prescott does seem to keep rescuing her. As for Hawkins, he’s skeptical about his family partnering with the pretty widow, as his bitter past keeps him from seeing that he is falling for her for quite some time.
A second chance at life, a slow romance, a partnership that shows how well two families would combine. A Christmas Bargain is a sweet Contemporary Christian Romance that is a heartwarming read in the Christmas season or any time.
